Apple is all set to launch yet another amazing set of next-generation MacBook Pros in an event today along with other products. As per reports, Apple is going to launch a new technology for its laptop category and introduce a new line of M-series chipsets.

Along with this, the Tim Cook-led company may also introduce the much-awaited is and anticipated, MacBook Pro laptops powered by the M1X chipset.

The launch will take place today (October 18) at 10:30 pm IST. Some are also expecting a newly designed Mac Mini that will also be powered by an M-series chipset. 

Just last month, Apple introduced us to the latest edition of its iPhone 13 series, iPad mini, and the Apple Watch. In today's event, one can expect Apple to make announcements mainly focused on the new Mac lineup, including the long-rumored M1X-powered MacBook Pros.

MacBook Pro: Key specifications:

- 16-inch and 14-inch MacBook Pro laptops

- Macbooks will be powered by a second chipset in the M-series line-up

- The new laptop might be called M1X

- The new chipset will get up to 16 performance cores and either 16 or 32 GPU cores

- The new MacBook might see a design change, it might be sleeker just like the iPhone 13 series. 

- MacBook Air and MacBook Pro will continue to function with the current M1 chipsets

The event is also expected to introduce the third generation Air Pods which are designed similar to Air Pods Pro but will be available at cheaper rates.
