After Asus unveiled the ZenFone 5Z, ZenFone 5 and ZenFone 5 Lite during Mobile World Congress this year, the company will now launch the ZenFone 5Z in India on July 4. The device will go on sale via e-commerce portal Flipkart. There is no information provided as to when Asus will launch the other two smartphones in the country.
In terms of specifications, the Asus ZenFone 5Z features a 6.2-inch Full HD+ LCD display with a 2246 x 1080 pixel resolution. It is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 845 processor. Running Android Oreo with ZenUI 5.0 on top, the ZenFone 5Z will be available in three variants - 4GB RAM and 64GB internal storage, 6GB RAM and 128GB internal storage and 8GB RAM and 256GB internal storage.
It comes equipped with a dual camera setup. It includes a 12MP wide-angle lens with f/1.8 aperture along with a 12MP sensor with f/1.8 aperture. It also features an 8MP front-facing camera with f/2.0 aperture. Connectivity features include 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 802.11ac, Bluetooth v5.0, NFC, GPS/ A-GPS and a 3.5mm headphone jack. A 3300mAh battery completes the package.
On the other hand, the Asus ZenFone 5 features a 6.2-inch FullHD+ IPS display with a 2246 x 1080 pixel resolution. It is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 636 processor, paired with 4GB/6GB of RAM. It will only be available in one storage option – 64GB. Running Android Oreo with ZenUI 5.0 on top, the device comes equipped with a dual camera setup. It includes a 12MP wide-angle lens with f/1.8 aperture along with a 12MP sensor with f/1.8 aperture. It also features an 8MP front-facing camera with f/2.0 aperture. Connectivity features include 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 802.11ac, Bluetooth v5.0, NFC and GPS/A-GPS. A 3,300mAh battery completes the package.
Lastly, the Asus ZenFone 5 Lite features a 6-inch QHD display with a 2160 x 1080 pixel resolution. It will be available in two variants - Snapdragon 430 octa-core processor with Adreno 505 GPU, and a Snapdragon 630 processor with Adreno 505 GPU. Additionally, it will also be available in 3GB RAM and 32GB of internal storage, and 4GB of RAM and 64GB of internal storage. The storage can be further expanded up to 2TB via microSD card. Running Android Oreo with ZenUI 5.0 on top, the device is backed by a 3300mAh battery. It is rated to deliver up to 30 hours of talk time on 3G and 24 days of standby time on 4G respectively.
