NASA's Goddard  Media STudios has put together  an incredible video of the Sun, captured by the Solar Dynamics Observatory (SDO). The observatory telescopes capture images of the sun every 12 seconds in 10 different ultraviolet wavelengths. The video is in glorious 4K resolution, and each wavelength captured is assigned a unique colour to make it visible. Each minute of the footage released took a specialist team 10 hours to render, and it highlights the different temperatures of solar material the Earth is exposed to during daytime. As the video's title card reads, " (It) presents the nuclear fire of our life-giving star in intimate detail, offering new perspective into our own relationships with grand forces of the solar system."
