The Twitter account of social network Google+ has gone live for the first time since it was launched four years ago.

The social media site asked the "Twitterverse" to give some love for its #firstTweet. It also posted a few individual replies to Twitter users, each containing a GIF, reported The Verge.

The social network's active Twitter stream is an inclination Google will put some focus back on the service in 2015. The report added that the sudden surge in activity on Twitter just ahead of Google I/O developer conference could also mean that users would get to know more about the future of Google+ before long.
