Hearthstone: One Night in Karazhan

The adventure has four wings, with 45 new cards to earn.

Tired of seeing C’thuns in Hearthstone ever since the Old Gods expansion came out? Well have no fear, Blizzard is at the ready to bring you some much needed variance.

The studio behind the insanely popular digital collectible card game (CCG) announced a new adventure yesterday, title “One Night in Karazhan”. To be clear, this is just a new adventure like League of Exlorers, not a complete expansion. It comes complete with four wings, featuring 13 bosses you’ll have to take down, and a grand total of 45 new cards to grab.

Pricing remains standard, You can purchase the entire adventure for US $19.99, or individual wings for US $6.99 (or 700 in-game gold). This time around, Blizzard also has alternative options for players looking to buy the remainder of the adventure, after having bought just one or two wings.

One Night in Karazhan will roll out August 11, with one wing released every week until they’re all available. Players that buy the entire adventure, within the first week of it coming, out will receive an exclusive card back. Preorders have not yet been opened up, so you can hold onto your wallets for now. However, if you’re still  not sold on the adventure, Blizzard is for the first time releasing a Prologue with this Hearthstone adventure, that will be free to access. It’ll net you two new cards, and you can get a feel for the rest of the pack.

In addition to new cards, One Night in Karazhan also has a customary new board, pictured below.

While most of the cards you can earn are still under wraps, here are the few that Blizzard DID reveal to the public, and they’re just insane.

Lastly, you can check out the cinematic trailer for the adventure here, to catch up on the storyline, and even get a sneak peek at some of the gameplay here.
