Microsoft has had its massive (84-inch) Surface Hub slated to hit the stores since September last year. It is now finally here--so if you’re looking for a way to facilitate big-screen collaboration in your office space, this is as large as it gets--this Windows 10 powered touchscreen is aimed at connecting teams and people together using technologies like HD video conferencing, hands-on multi-touch and all manner of on-screen writing. And it is priced at $22,000 (approximately Rs 14.69 lacs.)
The system comprises a pair of wide angle HD video conferencing cameras so that everyone in the room has their share of screen time. It is also designed to support up to 100 points of touch simultaneously, making for creative and collaborative group dynamics.

The Surface Hub also features something called ‘digital ink’, where users can draw right on the screen using pens--just like a whiteboard--where the tactile experience is designed to feel like writing on paper. Users can also use their fingers to jot, doodle and draw on the screen.
Being Windows 10 based, the system packs a suite of business and productivity apps specifically aimed at collaboration, such as Skype for Business, Office, OneNote and a range of Windows 10 Universal apps.
If you’re on a budget there is also a more reasonably sized 55-inch version available at a cost of $7,800 (approximately Rs 5.2 lacs).
