Technology giant Google has promised a software update for the Nexus 5X smartphone, which promises to boost the device's speed.
The update would enhance performance of the device and would also address issues related with Wi-Fi and Bluetooth.
The California-based company said in a statement that the update would come next month, a reported by The Verge. Nexus 5X is an Android smartphone manufactured by LG Electronics, co-developed and marketed by Google Inc. as part of its Nexus line of flagship devices.
Unveiled in 2015, it is a successor to the Nexus 5. Nexus 5X along with Nexus 6P served as launch devices for Android 6.0 Marshmallow, which introduces a refreshed interface, performance improvements, tighter Google Now integration, and numerous other features.
