Oppo F7 with notch-style display, 25MP front-facing camera launched in India: Price, specifications and more

Oppo has launched the Oppo F7 in India. The device will be available in two variants - 64GB variant priced at Rs 21,990 while the 128GB variant is priced at Rs 26,990. It will be available via e-commerce portal Flipkart, starting April 2. The Oppo F7 will be available in Solar Red and Moonlight Silver colour variants along with a special Diamond Black Edition for both variants as well.

It will be available via e-commerce portal Flipkart, starting April 2. The Oppo F7 will be available in Solar Red and Moonlight Silver colour variants along with a special Diamond Black Edition for both variants as well.

As a part of the launch offer, the company is offering 5 percent discount on ICICI cards along with an additional 120GB 4G data with Reliance Jio.

In terms of specifications, the Oppo F7 sports a 6.23-inch Super Full Screen display with a 2280×1080 pixels resolution and an aspect ratio of 19:9. It is powered by a MediaTek Helio P60 octa-core processor and is available in two RAM variants – 4GB RAM and 6GB RAM. It includes an internal storage of 64GB/128GB and can be further expanded up to 256GB via microSD card.

Running Android 8.1 Oreo based on ColorOS 5.0 UI, the device comes equipped with a 16MP rear camera with LED Flash along with a 25MP front-facing camera with AI Beauty Technology 2.0, AR stickers, bokeh effect and more features. Connectivity features include 4G VoLTE, Bluetooth, WiFi, dual-SIM, GPS and microUSB. A 3400mAh battery completes the package.

In a few days, Oppo will launch two variants of the Oppo R15 smartphone . An official poster has been released on Weibo which states that the Oppo R15 duo (Oppo R15 and Oppo R15 Dream Mirror Edition) will launch on March 31. The company also revealed that this will be the world’s first smartphone to use Sony’s latest flagship image sensor of IMX519.

According to the poster, the Oppo R15 launch will be televised on Zhejiang Satellite TV. In a separate poster, the company also revealed that Chinese actor, Zhang Yishan will serve as brand ambassador for the new devices.

In terms of features, the Oppo R15 is rumoured to feature 6.28-inch 19:9 AMOLED display along with a 2280 x 1080 resolution. It will be powered by a MediaTek’s new Helio P60 processor, paired with 6GB of RAM. It will most likely sport an internal storage of 128GB. The device might also come equipped with a dual camera set up - 16MP + 5MP rear camera along with a 20MP front facing camera. Running Android 8.1 Oreo out-of-the-box with ColorOS 5.0 on top, it will be backed by a 3450mAh battery. The device may also feature Oppo’s VOOC charging technology.

On the other hand, the Oppo R15 Dream Mirror Edition will feature 6.28-inch 19:9 AMOLED display along with a 2280 x 1080 resolution. It will be powered by a Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 660 processor, paired with 6GB of RAM. It will most likely sport an internal storage of 128GB. The device might also come equipped with a dual camera set up - 16MP + 20MP rear camera. A 3300mAh battery will complete the package.
