Oppo is all set to launch its online-only sub-brand called Realme in India today. The first smartphone to be launched will be the Realme 1, which will be launched at an event in New Delhi at 12:30PM. The device will be available exclusively via Amazon India. The e-commerce platform has a dedicated page live for the same as well. The smartphone is expected to be priced between Rs 15,000 to Rs 20,000.
In terms of leaked specifications, the device is said to feature a 6-inch IPS LCD FHD+ display along with a 2160×1080 pixels resolution and an aspect ratio of 18:9. It will be powered by a MediaTek Helio P60 SoC with 6GB RAM and an internal storage of 128GB. Running Android 8.1 Oreo with ColorOS 5.0 on top, the device will include a 13MP rear camera along with an 8MP front-facing camera.
Today, Huawei's low cast sub-brand Honor Honor 10 will launch in India. A teaser has also been shared by e-commerce portal Flipkart which states that the device will an exclusive and will go on sale on the same day itself.
Just like Huawei P20, Honor 10 has an all-glass body and iridescent finish. The phone sports a 5.84-inch 1080p LCD screen with a 2280x1080 pixels resolution and an aspect ratio of 19:9. It is powered by the company’s HiSilicon Kirin 970 SoC and is offered in two variants - 6GB RAM with 64GB internal storage and 6GB RAM with 128GB storage. It is available in Phantom Blue and Mirage Purple colours. It has a notch and a front-mounted fingerprint sensor to give it edge-to-edge sleek look.
Running Android 8.1 Oreo operating system with EMUI 8.1 on top, it has 24-megapixel primary sensor, a 16-megapixel secondary sensor, and a 24-megapixel selfie camera that supports face unlock feature. Connectivity features include 4G LTE, Wi-Fi, and Bluetooth. A 3400mAh battery completes the package.
