Research in Nuclear Medicine Applications by Indo-European Nuclear Medicine Forum can lead to breakthrough discoveries specially in treatment of cancer, felt the experts attending the programme here.
Indo European Nuclear Medicine Forum, a new educational body constituted by Indian and European Nuclear Medicine Professionals, conducted a three-day educational activity in
'Nuclear Medicine Applications' fast developing around the
globe in treatment of variety of diseases like cancer and
ailments related to brain and heart.
The forum provided a global platform for knowledge sharing in the field of Nuclear Medicine which can lead to breakthrough discoveries of its applications for Indian and European post graduate doctors.
Speaking at the three-day programme, which concluded here today, director of Tata Memorial Centre Dr R A Badwe said the
workshop being conducted by the Forum for Post Graduates from
all over the country will generate important thought processes
and ideas especially in the treatment of cancer.
Director of Homi Bhabha National Institution and Guest of Honour of the seminar, Dr Ravi B Grover stressed on the need of inter-institutional cooperation within India in different research activities.
