When it goes live this autumn, DriveTribe will be a new social network for the car obsessed, what Twitch is to gamers and Tripadvisor to travelers, say former Top Gear presenters.

The Exact details of what to expect from the new platform being heralded by erstwhile Top Gear presenters Jeremy Clarkson, Richard Hammond and James May, is unclear. However, May describes it as, "Pure digital inclusivity. Some of the world's most endangered tribes -- Volvo enthusiasts, for example -- will now have a voice as loud as everyone else's."

The social network is expected to go live to coincide with the trio's new TV show, "The Grand Tour," which will be making its global debut exclusively on Amazon later this year.

However, those that want in on the ground floor can sign up at drivetribe.com, starting Monday, to ensure early access.
