In the display department, the smartphone flaunts a 16.20 cm (6.38-inch) Super AMOLED display with a waterdrop notch design an HD+ resolution of 1080 x 2340 pixels and an aspect ratio of 19.5:9. The display also has a Halo FullView feature that accommodates perfect symmetry for a better visual effect. The screen also has another unique feature - it is always on with low power consumption (because of the AMOLED screen that keeps unused sections of the screen dark) so that the user can always glance at the phone and check the time and view alerts.

In the power department, the Vivo S1 smartphone comes with an octa-core MediaTek P65 processor that has a 12 nm design and clocks speeds of up to 2.0GHz right out of the box, for supporting all the latest Android apps and games like PUBG smoothly. For gaming, the smartphone also features an Ultra Game Mode that facilitates smooth gameplay and reduces frame-drop by 300%, according to the company.

The smartphone has a 6GB RAM variant which comes with 64 GB or 128GB of storage. Speaking of power, the Vivo S1 smartphone also features a massive 4,500 mAh Battery which supports the exclusive 18W Dual-Engine Fast Charging technology, which, according to the company, will significantly increase battery time and users would not need to necessarily rely on a power bank at work.

Coming to the camera, the smartphone flaunts a unique technology. At the backside, it comes equipped with a triple camera setup -- 16-megapixel (f/1.78) + 8-megapixel (f/2.2) + 5-megapixel (f/2.4) with a Super Wide Angle feature that can expand the view to up to 120 degrees, leading to an extensive smartphone photography experience. This is one of the primary unique selling proposition of the smartphone. The front camera, too, packs a powerful 32 MP (f/2.0) lens for taking selfies with high clarity and precise details.

In the standard launch edition, the phone features dual nano-SIM support and runs on the latest Android 9.0 'Pie', with a customised operating system, Funtouch OS 9.

Finally, given the wide range of features offered, the price of the Vivo S1 smartphone is set at Rs 17,990 for the 4GB RAM + 128GB storage variant, Rs 18,900 for the 6GB RAM + 64GB, and Rs 19,900 for the 6GB RAM + 128GB storage models respectively.
