Restaurant locator app Zomato has launched its food delivery service in the Delhi NCR area, and plan to expand to Mumbai, and Bangalore as well. The move is something Zomato CEO Deepinder Goyal had confirmed in a Reddit AMA a few months ago. The ZOmato app for iOS and Android has been updated, along with Apple Watch support, to allow users to click to order food from withinthe app itself. A Windows Phone app is also reportedly in the offing. While Zomato does not process the order itself, it does route it to the designated restaurant, where a dedicated iPad with the Zomato app will receive and confirm the order. But, another interesting feature, is Zomato's special deal for restaurants involved. The app prompts users to rate a restaurant post-delivery, and marks that up to an overall rating for the restaurant. While this is displayed next to the restaurant name in the app, it's also a quality-pushing tactic. Zomato has said it will charge a restaurant  a 7.5 percent processing fee for every 5-star-rated order, and a 15 percent fee for every order rated 1 star. This move makes it in the restaurant's best interest to offer quality service, in order to widen their profit margin.
