Google Maps introduces a true dark mode on Android

The Google Maps app has announced on Tuesday that it is widely releasing the dark theme option for its Android users. This feature will be accessible in the app’s settings menu, under ‘theme’. The company has been testing the dark mode option in the app since September 2020.
