Hina Khan is currently on cloud nine after she was bestowed with Best Actress Award at Montgomery International Film Festival for her performance in the film LINES. Yes, this is the same film which led the actor to make her debut at the Cannes Film Festival in 2019. Hina launched the poster of LINES at the prestigious festival. Now, during an Exclusive interaction with DNA, Hina shared her happiness on winning accolades for her movie.
When asked about her instant reaction to winning Best Actress Award, Hina exclusively told DNA, "Receiving International recognition for my work was an overwhelming feeling, It was lovely to see Lines getting such a positive response on a global scale. What makes this achievement even more special is that the film was made under our very own production banner HIROS FAAR BETTER FILMS, along with a team which was a dream team to work with."
Lines has been extensively shot in Kashmir which is the hometown of Hina. Talking about going back to roots for filming such an important movie, Hina shared, "Shooting in Kashmir for a film which has such a beautiful story to tell was an amazing experience. There was nothing better than shooting my very first stepping stone into films at home. Our entire team had a blast shooting in Kashmir and we have made some memories there to cherish for a lifetime."
With this international recognition, Hina has also completed 12 years in the entertainment industry. From starring in Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai, participating on Bigg Boss and Khatron Ke Khiladi, playing Komolika in Kasautii Zindagii Kay to featuring in series of films namely Hacked, Smartphone and Unlock, Hina is everywhere.
Describing her journey, Khan stated, "These 12 long years have been quite a roller coaster ride with numerous ups and downs, but each of them has been great learnings for me. Every step taken forward has guided me towards something bigger and better. This journey has taught me that there is nothing more important than sincerity, determination and honesty towards your work which will eventually get you places in life."
