Rubina Dilaik is officially the first confirmed contestant who will go to 'Bigg Boss 14' grand finale

Ever since 'Bigg Boss 14' took off, contestant Rubina Dilaik gained many fans. She, in fact, became a favourite on the internet, receiving fans' support after every 'Bigg Boss 14' episode ends. Thus, it comes as no surprise that she is the first confirmed contestant from the house to go directly into the 'Bigg Boss 14' finale.

Salman Khan announced that the 'Shakti: Astitva Ke Ehsas Ki' actor is the first confirmed contestant who will be part of 'Bigg Boss 14'. The announcement comes weeks after Salman said that she had received the least amount of votes, and was saved, for two weeks straight.

While Rubina was announced as the confirmed contestant, the fate of her husband Abhinav Shukla is yet to be sealed. The two entered the show as a couple and have been one another's strongest supoorters (at most times, at least) till date.

Interestingly, Abhinav already had a conversation about the 'Bigg Boss 14 grand finale' in one of the previous episodes. He was seated with Pavitra Punia, looking at a mysterious briefcase. She had thought that the briefcase might have carried the ticket to finale (which it wasn't) and Abhinav had said he would love to see his name in that.

Rubina was also making headlines for her constant fights with 'good friend' Jasmin Bhasin. Rubina and Abhinav, who always made a team, were pitted against Jasmin Bhasin and Aly Goni, who are close friends too. Both the couples made below-the-belt remarks on the other, in the name of Batwaara task.

Salman Khan also made some important and shocking announcement about the show. This year, 'Bigg Boss 14' would end in December itself. In fact, the grand finale is all set to take place in the coming week - on Saturday.

The news comes as a shocker considering just the previous season was extended till February. 'Bigg Boss 13', featuring Sidharth Shukla, Shehnaaz Gill, Arti Singh, Rashami Desai and others, was one of the highest-watched Indian shows and thus the makers had decided to extend the season of 'Bigg Boss' back in 2019.
