It's been more than a decade since Salman Khan has been hosting the reality show Bigg Boss. But before that, the controversial show had three hosts Arshad Warsi, Shilpa Shetty Kundra and Amitabh Bachchan in that order. Even Sanjay Dutt had joined Salman as a host for one season. But yes, the show kickstarted with Arshad becoming the first-ever host of Bigg Boss. Now, during a recent interaction, the actor was asked if he had followed the show after his stint as the host.
To which Arshad told BollywoodLife, "No, yaar, I don't watch (any of the episodes). I'm so sorry, but I don't. I'm not... I don't know... I just don't watch it... I don't watch many things, yaar. And I don't find it very interesting, to be honest. I guess it's one of those that once you start watching it then you're stuck and glued onto it. But, I've never managed to start watching it, so, maybe, the day I start watching it, I'll be glued onto it."
Warsi also said that he can't watch other people's misery. Arshad shared, "Yeah, exactly, I don't have that, yaar. I can't enjoy other people's misery and all that stuff."
Meanwhile, on the work front, Arshad is gearing up to play the main antagonist in Durgamati starring Bhumi Pednekar in the lead role. The film also has Mahie Gill, Jisshu Sengupta and Karan Kapadia in pivotal roles. An Amazon Prime original, Durgamati is set to be streamed from December 11, 2020.
