After being tested positive for coronavirus during the last week of November, television actor Divya Bhatnagar passed away. The actor breathed her last due to COVID-19 complications.
Who was Divya Bhatnagar?
Actor Divya Bhatnagar was born on September 15 in Delhi and attended Delhi University before joining the film industry.
In 2015, Divya got engaged to her long-time boyfriend and then finally married her boyfriend of five years, Gagan aka Gabru in December 2019. Gagan is also associated with showbiz and works for production houses making reality shows. He is into artiste management as well.
Reportedly, Divya's parents were not happy with their relationship as it was an inter-caste marriage, however, the couple secretly tied a knot in a Gurudwara on December 22, 2019.
Divya started her career as an actor in 2006 with Chaand Ke Paar Chalo and since appeared in many TV shows including Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai, Udann, Jeet Gayi Toh Piyaa Morre, Vish, Sawaare Sabke Sapne...Preeto, Shreeman Shrimati Phir Se, and Tera Yaar Hoon Main.
Apart from television shows, Divya has also appeared in various commercials.
The news of her tragic demise was shared by Devoleena Bhattacharjee as she paid condolences to Divya on her Instagram page. She shared a few photos with Divya with an emotional note remembering the actor and wrote that she will be missed a lot. Devoleena also wrote, "God bless your soul".
Bhattacharjee's note read as "Jab koi kisi k saath nahi hota tha toh bas tu hi hoti this... Divu tu hi toh meri apni thi jisse main daant sakti this, ruth sakti this, dil ki baat keh sakti thi... I know life was too hard on you..the pain is intolerable...but I know today you must be in a better place and free from all the sorrows, pains, sadness, cheats, lies...I will miss you divu and tu bhi jaanti thi I loved you and cared for you...
