Archana Puran Singh and Parmeet married in 1992, much before Parmeet hit the limelight with his performance in Dilwale Dulhaniya Le Jayenge in 1995.

Actor Archana Puran Singh had recently revealed that after she got married to her husband Parmeet Sethi, they kept their marriage a secret for four years. Archana narrated the story of her marriage on The Kapil Sharma Show and said that his parents did not approve of her as she was an actor.

Archana was speaking to Kapil Sharma and celebrity guests Neha Kakkar and her husband Rohanpreet Singh. Archana also said that Parmeet was adamant he wanted to marry her.

She said that they consulted a priest, who asked Parmeet if Archana was a "balik", to which Parmeet replied that she was more "balik" than him.

The priest, thereafter, asked them to come the next day. Archana, recalling the day, said she was shooting for Saif Ali Khan's debut film and hid it from everyone that she was getting married. Archana went on to say how they successfully hid their marriage for four years. She was happy there was no social media then and so they could get away.

The couple married in 1992, much before Parmeet hit the limelight with his performance in Dilwale Dulhaniya Le Jayenge in 1995. The couple has two sons - Aaryamann and Ayushmann. Archana joined The Kapil Sharma Show in 2019 after former cricketer and popular judge Navjot Singh Sidhu had to quit the show.

Earlier, Archana had said that since she came out of a failed marriage she was completely against the idea of remarriage. She had said, "After my previous failed marriage, I never wanted to have another man in my life. But with Parmeet, I realised that men can be gentle, loving, and sensitive, and not all of them are violent and possessive. Parmeet is an absolute antithesis of a male chauvinist."

To this Parmeet said, "Though Archana had already established as a star, I was never jealous of her achievements. Neither did we ever have our respective egos ruining our relationship. We are just two individuals returning home after our day's work. We give each other our space and don't interfere with each other's work."
