Tragedies do no good to anyone, they affect not just those directly involved but also many others who are not directly affected. Today, let's talk about TV shows that were stopped or delayed because of real-life tragedies.

It had an episode titled All About Yves. However, due to its plot involving a hijacked plane heading towards the World Trade Center, it was pulled from airing following the September 11 attacks.

American Guns which was about a family of gunmakers, was halted after two seasons in December 2012 following the Sandy Hook School massacre.

This show revolved around the suburban family - husband Paul and wife Cate, played by John Ritter and Katey Sagal, and their three teenage kids. The show was cancelled after John Ritter suddenly passed away in 2003. After his death, the audience couldn't relate to the show and the makers had to take the decision of sopping it. 

This iconic show from the 1980s faced interruptions and delays due to the assassination of Prime Minister Indira Gandhi in 1984. 

This show was halted within a few weeks due to the Covid lockdown. Actress Gulfam Khan, while talking about the same, said, “I was disappointed but not utterly shocked. Since the last one year, the situation in the world is such that unpleasant things are happening. We had 10 children in the show and we weren't able to shoot many episodes. After shooting was stalled in Maharashtra, units were moving to other states. We were thinking of going to another city too but putting these kids at risk was not advisable.”
