Virendra Sehwag recently visited the sets of Sakshi Tanwar’s culinary show Tyohaar Ki Thaali where she prepares special festive dishes. The cricketer was the guest on the episode celebrating Lohri and Makar Sankranti.
Says a source, “As soon as Virendra arrived, he wanted to drink tea as he loves it. When Sakshi offered to make it for him, he politely turned down the offer saying he is used to drinking asli desi chai and proceeded to make for himself and the actress.”
Reminiscing about the way he used to celebrate the festival, the cricketer shared that when he used to play for India, his mother used to make til laddoos the size of a cricket ball for the entire team! “Before playing, I used to eat one til ka laddoo and drink one litre milk,” he revealed. On the show, Virendra lent his help to Sakshi in slicing vegetables.
Sakshi says, “Maine toh unse gajar aur muli kaswali apne kaam ke liye and he was very sweet because he grated it nicely and took keen interest. I had a great time with Sehwag on the show.”
