Akshay Kumar is set to be the latest guest on 'Into The Wild' with Bear Grylls. A teaser of the show is out now. Interestingly, Prime Minister Narendra Modi has previously featured on the show, taking the world by a happy surprise.

Akshay not only shared the news, but also a teaser of him exploring the wild with Grylls. He also repeated his dialogued from PadMan, 'You thinking I mad'. "You thinking I mad… but mad only going into the wild. #IntoTheWildWithBearGrylls @beargrylls @discoveryplusindia @discoverychannelin," he wrote while posting a teaser from his appearance on the show.

Akshay Kumar's response was to Bear Grylls' post. "Life is an adventure that is best lived boldly, and there are few better (madder) adventure buddies than the legendary," Grylls had posted on his social media handles, calling Akshay 'mad adventure buddy'.

Apart from PM Modi, megastar Rajinikanth has also been part of the show in 2019. PM Modi had shot with Grylls in Jim Corbett National Park, Uttarakhand, while Rajinikanth explored Bandipur Tiger Reserve in Karnataka. They shot for six hours a day under extreme conditions.

The show is about prominent stars pushing themselves to the limits to survive. Grylls takes the stars on 48-hour journey where the duo face inhospitalable conditions.

'Into The Wild' mark Akshay Kumar's comeback as a daredvil on TV after a long time. He has previously been a part of the reality TV show 'Khatron Ke Khiladi', where he performed stunts from time-to-time.

Akshay Kumar's 'Into The Wild'  with Bear Grylls episode will be available on Discovery Plus App on September 11, 2020. It will air on Discovery channel on September 14, 2020.
