Bigg Boss 12 Contestants Jodi: Anup Jalota and Jasleen Matharu

'Bhajan Samraat' Anup Jalota will be entering season 12 of Salman Khan's popular show 'Bigg Boss' with his student Jasleen Matharu under the 'Guru-Shishya' category. The caption on their promo video reads as, "65 aur 28 saal ki yeh jodi vichitra, Aa rahi hai machane dhoom via their anokha charitra"

Their pictures, taken at Jalota's 65th birthday bash in July this year, remain a hot topic of discussion in inner circles. There is strong buzz that the two are dating but the veteran says there is no truth to those rumours as they just share a 'beautiful equation of music'.

Apart from having music sessions with Jasleen, Anup plans to lose weight and make a lot of friends during his stay inside the house. 

“I am going to make a lot friends and if someone gets upset with me I will sing a song for him. I am going there to have a lot of fun and I will get early sing bhajan, walk on the treadmill for a while, do yoga, iron my clothes and cook for everyone. I have already decided what all I am going to do inside the house," Anup told Times of India before entering the house.

The veteran singer also revealed that it was him who got the time slot changed for the controversial reality series.“Firstly I got the show’s timing changed. I got it shifted from the adult time slot to the prime time. Coming at 9 means the show has got mild and there will be less naughty stuff on-air, he added.
