Bigg Boss and controversy are on their way to becoming one of the love stories to be remembered through the ages. After 11 seasons, every outing of the reality show gave us memorable feuds. Be it Rakhi Sawant, Dolly Bindra, or Heena Khan and Shilpa Shinde's tussle in the last season.
But recent advancement suggests that there may be a chance that these controversies will have to be dialled down. For Bigg Boss 11 the airtime was 10.30 pm on weekdays and 9 pm for Weekend Ka Var. According to a tweet by Chief Executive Officer of Colors channel, Raj Nayak, the new season will air at 9 pm instead of the previous timeslot.
Taking to micro-blogging site he wrote, "#BreakingNews This season of the biggest Reality show on Indian Television #BiggBoss12 to be telecast at 9 PM on all days @ColorsTV! @iamappyfizz @oppomobileindia @PanasonicIndia."
The show has also been advanced from the usual airtime in towards October or November. Salman Khan recently revealed that this had nothing to do with his superbusy schedule. In an interview with DNA he said, "It has nothing to do with my film schedules or dates. The channel wanted the show to get over before December so that the contestants can be free to celebrate the New Year."
At the launch of the show in Goa, Salman Khan announced that comedian Bharti Singh and her writer husband Harsh Limbachiyaa are the first jodi to enter the house this year.
Taking to the stage and showcasing her comedic skills, Bharti told Salman Khan that she wants to win even if husband loses in the process. "Ever since I got married, Colors has taken care of the bills," she added.
Season 12 of Bigg Boss will see participants enter in pairs. These pairings could be friends, siblings, spouses, mother-daughter, or father-son etc. Apart from Bharati and Harsh, speculations are rife about Dipika Kakar, Subuhi Joshi, Shaleen Bhanot, Karanvir Bohra will enter the house to win this reality show.
Bigg Boss 12 will premiere on September 16.
