Bigg Boss 13 episode nine seemed to have major focus on Siddharth Shukla. The contestant is a Television actor, and appeared in the movie Humpty Sharma Ki Dulhania as Alia Bhatt's fiance. The actor has been buzzing around Twitter for overusage of the word 'footage' and 'aukaad'.
Here's what his once-upon-a-time fans, or Twitterati in general wrote about the episode:
Siddharth Shukla has been associated with footage since a long time. It all began when Siddhartha Dey accused him of taking footage and being aggressive only from time-to-time, all 'for footage'. In episode 9, Shukla took offence to the word footage, stated by Mahira Sharma.
The actor began fighting with many females of the house, including Devoleena Bhattacharjee, Rashami Desai, Koena Mitra and Mahira Sharma. When asked to choose between rice or chapati for lunch, Siddharth was no-compromise about having both in his meal, since it is basic Indian diet. However, Devoleena, who is responsible for the kitchen, stated that there can be either of the two foods. When Paras Chhabra, who is responsible for ration, says that only rice will be made, Shukla goes on to argue with him too. He goes on to state that the person responsible for kitchen can make any food they like, but people will stay hungry. This is when Mahira Sharma (hinting towards Shehnaaz Bagga) calls the show 'Comedy Circus', and says people want footage. Shukla took the talk personally and started arguing with Sharma too.
The fight intensifies when Shehnaaz Gill goes on to question Devoleena Bhattacharjee for making thick chapatis, stating flour will get over. Devoleena suggests that she was demanded to do so, because housemates complained of thin chapatis. Among the complains, one was by Shukla himself. Rashami sided by Devoleena, stating that there have been complaints. Siddharth lost his calm and questioned her on responsibilities, while she counter-questioned him on the same. The argument ended up in 'aukaad', which led to a fight, when Rashami stated everybody knows who is a better person among them. Shukla comes back, and on observing Koena Mitra around the kitchen, fights with her too. This leads to Koena calling Shukla mannerless and someone who will take 100 years to become a man. Rashami too, in turn calls him thankless. Shukla, on hearing their conversation, tells them the world will judge on the same. And it appears that the judgement has been made, loud and clear!
