Right before the New Year episode, Bigg Boss 13 took a wild turn, revealing that the house now indeed has two groups aka Team Sidharth Shukla-Paras Chhabra and Team Asim Riaz-Rashami Desai. When they entered the show, Asim was great friends with Sidharth while Rashami was in good terms with Paras. The friendship between Asim and Sidharth came to such a turn that now the two find every reason to get at each other's necks.
In one of the recent episodes, Rashami accused Sidharth of maligning her image by calling her 'aisi ladki'. Amidst the dirty fight, Asim was also seen initiating a fight between Sidharth and him. Shefali Jariwala and Arti Singh also asked him to stop in the episode. This had people wondering whether Asim was truly taking Rashami's stand or removing his own grudge on Sidharth. VJ Andy was one of those people who accused Asim of taking a 'fake stand' for women, or Rashami, case of point.
Taking to Twitter, VJ Andy wrote, "It’s now quite clear to every1 inside the @BiggBoss can see that @imrealasim gets in2 fights which have nothing 2 do with him, #AsimRiaz went 2 Rashmi last night to stir up trouble with @sidharth_shukla He can’t hide behind his fake stand of ‘helping women’ Even my mom agrees!"
Hitting back, Asim's brother Umar Riaz replied, "So he is standing up for rashmi the same way he was standing up for sid when they were friends and i cee no harm in doing that coz for asim friendship is everything coz he has been staying out of home all his life and friends were there for him always. Hope u can understand me!"
