'Bigg Boss 14' winner and popular actor Sidharth Shukla died at the age of 40 on Thursday. The actor was laid to rest at a Mumbai crematorium on Friday as his colleagues Rashami Desai, Asim Riaz, Aly Goni, and Prince Narula, among others paid their last respects.
Sidharth's remains were taken from Cooper Hospital in Mumbai to the Oshiwara crematorium. Apart from his industry colleagues, Sidharth's family members and his close friend Shehnaaz Gill were also present to pay their respects.
Shehnaaz looked inconsolable and grief-stricken as she arrived at the crematorium with her brother Shahbaaz. After the funeral was completed, Sidharth's friends and colleagues left the crematorium as the actor left for his heavenly abode.
Sidharth's friend and 'Bigg Boss' co-contestant Rahul Mahajan confirmed the news to the media and said that the entire Shanti Paath is over and it was an electric cremation for the actor.
Speaking about Shehnaaz, Rahul said that she is 'totally inconsolable'. On Friday, photos of a distraught and inconsolable Shehnaaz in a car accompanied by her bother Shahbaaz surfaced online. Shehnaaz was snapped outside Sidharth Shukla's residence in Mumbai as his last rites began.
