In the latest episode of controversial reality show 'Bigg Boss 14' hosted by superstar Salman Khan, singer Rahul Vaidya's mother Geeta confirmed that her son will soon be tying the knot with television actor Disha Parmar. In fact, she also mentioned that the two families had already begun preparations for the special day and were only waiting for Rahul to come out of the house.
For the unversed, over the next two days, on Bigg Boss, contestants will get a chance to interact with one of their family members. As part of this, Rahul's mom Geeta had come on the show on Friday's episode.
Contestants mutually agreed to give Rahul 11 mins with his mom over the phone which was placed behind a glass door from where Rahul could see his mom speaking and vice versa. While Rahul got extremely emotional on seeing his mother, the latte kept telling him that he was doing well inside the house.
After asking about his father's health, when Rahul questioned his mom about Disha, she revealed that Disha had sent a special message for him -- that he was playing very well. Rahul's mother then revealed that preparations for the big day had begun and that the families had mutually and happily give a nod to the couple.
Meanwhile, in an exclusive interaction with Times of India, Rahul's mother opened up about meeting her son in the Bigg Boss house and plans for his big day.
"I am very happy that I got a chance to meet him. He got very emotional after seeing me. We are outside watching him every day but he is inside the house and not able to see us and so he got very emotional. In fact, all the housemates were excited to meet their family members," Geeta Vaidya told Times of India.
Speaking about Disha, Geeta disclosed that when Rahul has voluntarily quit the show, she had come to meet the family three-four times while adding that the basic arrangements for Rahul's wedding with Disha were in place.
"When Rahul came from the show mid-way, Disha had also come to meet us. After that also she has come to meet us three-four times. I have spoken to her mom also. So, we have finalised everything and done all the small preparations. We are waiting for Rahul to come out, the moment he is out will decide and finalise the dates. The date, location and everything else we will confirm then. But the basic arrangements we have already done. Both the families have met and have given the nod for the wedding. Now, we are just waiting for Rahul," she said.
