Bigg Boss is a show that runs high on emotions and many times comments or remarks are made by contestants that rubs someone or the other, whether in the house or not, in a wrong way.

Recently, contestant Abhinav Shukla's clip, where he is seen speaking about Asim Riaz 'poking', aggressive gameplay and 'trying too hard' in the game went viral on the Internet, Asim's brother Umar has come out in the Bigg Boss 13 runner-up's support.

Taking to his Twitter handle, Umar, giving a piece of advice to Abhinav wrote, "One advice for #abhinav, plz start trying hard enough for people to see that u are actually in the show! @BiggBoss @EndemolShineIND #bb14."

In the clip, during his conversation with other housemates, Abhinav compared Asim with Sidharth Shukla. While most negative comments about Asim spoken by Abhinav were muted, he was seen mimicking the former and saying that he was 'trying too hard' in Bigg Boss 13. He also spoke about how Asim would fight with Sidharth.

Soon after this clip went viral, Asim fans trended a rather nasty and abusive hashtag in Abhinav's name. Meanwhile, Abhinav fans too jumped in to rescue their star and trended #IStandWithAbhinav on Twitter.

And while fans of both the star have been defending Abhinav and Asim, the latter nor Abhinav's PR team has said a word on the topic.

For the unversed, Asim was offered a place in 'Bigg Boss 14' house but he turned it down.

Earlier this month, while speaking with media portal Bollywood Bubble Asim had said, "Yes, I was offered. But the thing is that I have to spend 140 days in the house. It was a long time. For me, at that time I just recovered and it leaves an impact on your head that you just remember something and it's like I don't want to go back."

"This is not the right time for me to go. I thought I have just recovered and done well in my life. If I get a chance I will go. But at that time when I was offered, I wasn’t ready to be very honest," he added.
