71st Primetime Emmy Awards was hosted on the night of September 22 in Los Angeles. The awards show, which is one of the biggest for Television, honoured the most-loved drama series 'Game of Thrones' on a different level altogether!
At the Emmys 2019, 'Game of Thrones' cast, including Alfie Allen (Theon Greyjoy), Sophie Turner (Sansa Stark), Maisie Williams (Arya Stark), Lena Headey (Cersei Lannister), Peter Dinklage (Tyrion Lannister), Kit Harington (Jon Snow), Emilia Clarke (Daenerys Taragryen), Gwendoline Christie (Brienne of Tarth), Nikolaj Coster-Waldau (Jamie Lannister) and Carice Van Houten (Mellisandre aka Red Woman), received a standing ovation. Among them, Christie received the loudest applause.
In order to capture the moment forever, Alfie clicked a selfie with them all (Kit Harrington was missed, though) at the Emmys. This selfie has now gone viral all over the internet, because the whole cast is their casual and crazy self in the photo. They appear to be overwhelmed by all the love that came their way.
