Ex Bigg Boss contestant Karishma Tanna in legal trouble: Actress accused of fraud but she has a different story to tell

Popular TV actress and former Bigg Boss contestant Karishma Tanna has been slapped with a legal notice for cheating, threatening and blackmailing by an even manager from Delhi names Manas Katyal. Looks like Karisma was to perform at an event but she didn't turn up at the venue which caused Manas to bear a loss of close to Rs 10 lakh. 

A MidDay report suggests that Karishma apparently changed her plan at the last minute soon after she landed in Delhi. The tabloid quoted Manas as saying, "She threatened our driver with a false case of harassment if he didn’t turn the car around and drive her back to Delhi.”

Manas further told the tabloid that Karishma's no show at the event caused him a loss of about Rs 10 lakh and he wants her to compensate for the same. On the other hand, Karishma has a completely different story to tell. In fact, she says that Manas should be the one paying for causing her mental harassment. 

The tabloid quoted Karishma as saying, "I was told the show was in Moradabad. When we reached Moradabad, we found out that the show was actually in Haldwani, which is another few hours from there. I had told Manas right at the start that I have a back issue and can’t travel long distances.”

When told about the demand of Manas, to compensate for his loss due to her no show, Karishma said, "Why should I return the money? He should compensate me for the mental harassment that I was put through.” 

As of now, Manas has slapped Karishma with a legal notice. Further details are awaited in the matter. On the work front, Karishma is reported to be seen in Naagin 3 along with Anita Hassanandani and Surbhi Jyoti.
