Urvashi Dholakia spoke at length about shooting for the 90s hit show, 'Dekh Bhai Dekh' at the age of 15.

Urvashi Dholakia became a household name with her stint as Komolika in Kasautii Zindagii Kay. But did you know she made her debut on television in the 90s with the very popular show Dekh Bhai Dekh? Yes, Urvashi was 15 and studying in school when she forayed into acting. Since then there was no turning back for her. The actor has been a part of several hit shows and also won the reality show, Bigg Boss.

Now, during a recent interaction with The Times of India, Urvashi opened up about Dekh Bhai Dekh and shooting during those days. She stated, "I used to finish school by 1-1:15 pm in the afternoon and then travel to R.K Studios in Chembur in my school uniform. The crew would wait patiently. The whole cast and crew were like one big family, off-screen also, I used to be the quiet one as I entered the show little late but they all were very welcoming towards me."

Talking about the re-run of the show, Dholakia went on to say, "I am excited that millennials will get to see such an iconic show which has been a trend-setter in the industry. It was the first show to be shot in a multi-cam setup. I am happy that all these shows are being telecast because today's generation is getting to know how television was so good even at that time and has evolved. It was a huge production, with Jaya Ji (Bachchan) producing it and Anand Mahendru directing it. I feel privileged that I was part of it."
