Hours after actor Sidharth Shukla was laid to rest on Friday at Mumbai's Oshiwara crematorium in the presence of his family members and rumoured girlfriend Shenaaz Gill, actress Gauahar Khan took to her social media handle to slam those 'giving interviews' after paying their last respects to the 'Bigg Boss 13' winner and extending condolences to his family.
Taking to her verified Twitter handle, Gauahar wrote, "Any one who has met a grieving family, should not give out details. Really sad to see people giving interviews about family members and sharing details. Stop! Please stop! If you have gone to pay your respect don't come out and become a khabri (informer) and add to the low standard of journalism."

While many Twitter users agreed with Gauahar, a section of people on the microblogging site said that just like friends and members of the film and TV fraternity visiting the family to know about their well being, as fans they were also concerned about Sidharth's family and had the right to know. Some even pointed out that those who did give interviews to the media did not say anything that should not have been said while others brought to notice that no one who visited Sidharth's family shared inside photos or videos.
"U completely wrong @GAUAHAR_KHAN as a fan we were worried whats going on with family so if somebody have told few things thats not wrong nobody shared inside photo or video.....still can't believe he is no more," wrote a user.
"If a normal prsn also dies, then ppl still ask how's the family... Then he is a celebrity if we had permission, then we would have gone & met his family, this much goodness is left in us & after knowing about his fam. Ppl r only praying so what's the prblm wid u," tweeted yet another user.
"It's just that fans want to knw howz the condition of the family members madam it's not for gossip but out of concern. We hve been kept asking coz we are in equal pain Broken heart," wrote yet another Twitter user.
