Ishaan and Janhvi recently visited the sets of India’s Best Dramebaaz to promote their upcoming film Dhadak. After a few performances, the young contestants went up to Ishaan and told him that they had a gift for him and Janhvi. Says a source from the sets, “The kids brought a cane box and when they opened it, a cute Labrador puppy came out. Both Ishaan and Janhvi were taken aback. That’s when Vivek Oberoi, who is judging the show, said that it genuinely is a gift for them.”
The source adds that the idea came from the trailer of Dhadak, “In one of the scenes Ishaan asks Janhvi for a pappi (kiss) and she says, ‘Matlab kutte ka chhota bachcha?’ Playing on that punchline, the India’s Best Dramebaaz family decided to gift them one and extend their best wishes.” We hear, the duo took the puppy along with them and it is now in Ishaan’s house.
