Iqbal Khan and Eijaz Khan shared screen space for the first time in the popular serial Kkavyanjali and now over a decade later, the two actors will be coming together for the talk show JuzzBaat — Sangeen Se Namkeen Tak. And, Iqbal is looking forward to catching up with his former co-star. “After all, we went to the same school — Ekta’s (Kapoor) Balaji Telefilms! Those days serials would be mostly shot in Sankraman Studios or Killick Nixon and all of the actors used to hang out together. Since Eijaz and I did Kkavyanjali, we shared a friendly rapport then, but I haven’t touched base with him for a long time. I will be meeting him on May 18, when we shoot for the show,” shares Iqbal.
Ask him about his equation with Rajeev Khandelwal, who is hosting the show, and he laughs, “Even Rajeev went to the same school! So we all are in the same space and I’m sure we will have a lot of fun.” The episode, we hear, is titled ‘Khans of Television’.
