All's evidently not going well for Kapil Sharma. The popular comedian lost it completely on Friday when he went on an abusive Twitter rant against one of the entertainment portals and it's editor. As if the entire mayhem created on Twitter wasn't enough, he went ahead to call the editor and abusive him over the phone.
Later on Saturday, Kapil allegedly filed a complained against not just the mediamperson, but also against his former manager and ex girlfriend Preeti Simoes, and her sister Neeti Simoes, for defaming him after he refused to pay them a sum of Rs 25 lakh which they were trying to extort from him.
Now, one can't help but notice that all this brouhaha got created just a day before Kapil's former colleague and best friend Sunil Grover's new show Dhan Dhana Dhan was to go on air. While fans had been waiting for Kapil and Sunil to be back together, looks like there's no possibility of the same any more.
While many are still left wondering about the reason why Kapil and Sunil couldn't come back together, Kapil's ex girlfriend and manager Preeti simoes told Pinkvilla why the old team couldn't really go back to Kapil Sharma after the infamous mid-air fight between Sunil and Kapil.
She was quoted as saying, "We met a lot of times and the channel also initiated the conversations between us. The entire team was ready to come back to him [Kapil] including Sunil but he never got back to us."
The portal further quoted Preeti as saying, "Sunil was very clear that he wanted the same creative team which was working for The Kapil Sharma Show [TKSS] because he did not trust the team that was working with him after we left. He and Ali [Asgar] bhai were very clear that if the same team comes only then the magic will happen. So, everyone was ready to come to him, he also met up with us before going to Bengaluru. We discussed all of this but then he disappeared."
Preeti added saying that it may be a possibility that Kapil's current girlfriend Ginni Chatrath didn't want him to work with her and the old team. She told the portal, "He [Kapil] then told us that it is family pressure and he cannot work with us. I understand that it is family pressure, maybe his current girlfriend (Ginni Chatrath) is not comfortable with him working with his ex but they don't have the maturity to understand that some people grow in life. One year after a breakup, I won't be sitting and holding a candle waiting for him na? We could have worked in a professional space but she wasn't comfortable at all. She would keep telling him NO and this happened like 10 times. He used to tell us he wants to work with us, he had big dreams but he is not mentally stable.They have ruined him completely."
