Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah's Jethalal aka Dilip Joshi reacted to the exit of Goli aka Kush Shah. On Friday, the makers dropped a video of Kush bidding goodbye to the show, and thanking the fans for their love.
Kush has been part of TMKOC for 16 years. He has been in the show ever since it started. In the video, as Kush signs off, a new Goli is also introduced, and this video leaves fans emotional.
Even Dilip got sentimental at Kush's exit, and he penned a note wishing him luck in his future endeavours. Sharing a scene of them, Dilip wrote, "Jokes apart, I have enjoyed every scene I’ve done with you. Wishing you the best! May you continue to spread smiles! Looking forward to seeing you go far like a bandook ki ‘Goli’ now!"

In his farewell video, Kush thanked producer Asit Modi for giving him the opportunity to become the audience's favourite. He said, "When this show started, when you and I first met, I was very young. You have given me a lot of love since then. And this family has given me as much love as you have given me. I have made a lot of memories here. I have enjoyed a lot here. I have spent my childhood here and most importantly I want to thank the creator of Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah, Mr. Asit Kumar Modi for this journey. He trusted me so much, made my character so interesting and always inspired me. Because of his trust, Kush became Goli today."
For the unversed, rumours of Kush leaving TMKOC started earlier in June when a fan spotted him in New York. In his post, he claimed that Kush informed him about leaving the show for further studies. Before Kush, several cast members quit the show, including Disha Vakani, Bhavya Gandhi, Gurucharan Singh, Shailesh Lodha, Neha Mehta, Jennifer Mistry and Raj Anadkat.
