Kapil Sharma finally tied the knot with his longtime girlfriend Ginni Chatrath last year in the month of December. The cute couple has known each other since their college days and the comedian made it official with her in 2017. It's been five months since they got married and Kapil treats fans by sharing cute photos with Ginni on his Instagram page. During a recent conversation with HT Cafe, Kapil was all praises for his loving wife.
When the leading daily asked Kapil if the marriage has changed him as a comedian, he replied, "I haven’t changed after marriage, the only change is: Earlier, I’d crack marriage jokes as an outsider, but now I know the reality (laughs), so the jokes are more real, more authentic." On being quizzed about Ginni's sense of humour, the comedian-actor stated, "Even when I met her for the first time in college, I saw that her comic timing on stage was very good. She is my critic. She is also my biggest fan and laughs on almost all my jokes."
Kapil, on the other hand, called the audience his driving force. He added, "Just to see them laugh gives me immense pleasure. Even when I was on a break for a year, the love that I got (upon return) was immense, my audience welcomed me with open arms. Obviously, without my mother’s blessings, nothing would have been possible — she is my pillar of strength."
Currently, the comedian-actor is busy with The Kapil Sharma Show.
