After reports of Navjot Singh Sidhu being upset with Kapil Sharma for getting Archana Puran Singh on board in his absence, the funnyman has revealed why Paaji can never be replaced on the show.
Kapil addressed the rumours of an argument with the cricketer turned politician on the show and said, "I cannot even think of replacing Sidhuji. Whenever I plan to shoot, I always plan with Sidhuji because I feel he is lucky for me." In an interview to Pinkvilla, the actor clarified that reports of a tiff are false. He said, "There is no truth to this news. This has happened before. For example, we shot for Sairat episode, Sidhu sir was not there, even when Jackie Chan came, we called Raveena ji for the episode. I read this news but the truth is that I haven't actually spoken to Sidhu sir. The news is absolutely false."
Kapil had to shoot an episode with Archana Puran Singh as Sidhu was unwell and couldn't come for the shoot. Reports were abuzz, that in spite of Paaji calling the captain of the ship, expressing his displeasure over this, Kapil went ahead and shot with Archana. The Kapil Sharma show featuring A Gentleman stars Siddharth Malhotra and Jacqueline Fernandez has Archana Puran Singh sitting in Navjot Singh Sidhu's iconic chair.According to the report, SIdhu is down with fever and will be back to work around August 17 or 18. Kapil has adjusted to Paaji's absence in the past, with just cut-outs of him being put in his chair. But this time the actor decided to go ahead and shoot with Archana Puran Singh.
