Namrata revealed that she came on ‘KBC’ 21 years ago with her brother as a companion and was happy to be in the hot seat after all these years.

Today’s episode of ‘Kaun Banega Crorepati 13’ started with the rollover contestant from Gujarat, Namrata Ajay Shah who is a professional Kathak dancer and has been teaching the traditional dance form for the past 23 years. Namrata shared that she started with 2 students and now teaches around 200 girls.

Namrata was praised by Amitabh Bachchan for her elegance and the way she talked with gestures. He also complimented her saree and statement neckpiece. The 58-year-old was also starstruck by Big B and said he looked as young as ever. The actor then jokingly asks the team to stop the shooting so he could take Namrata out for tea.

Namrata said that she came on ‘KBC’ 21 years ago with her brother as a companion and was happy to be in the hot seat after all these years. An old picture of Namrata, her brother and Amitabh was then shown on the screen.

The contestant also told Bachchan that she loves his facial expressions as they reflect his innocence and sits to watch the show for that. Namrata shared that she along with 10 of her students performed at the Motera stadium during the Namaste Trump event in January 2020.

She also showcased her exceptional dance skills and performed on the sets of ‘KBC 13’. She later sang a verse for the actor as well. Getting more candid with Big B, Namrata asked if she could call him “Amit Ji”, to which the actor replied and told her to call him only “Amit”.

Namrata also revealed on the show that she will soon become a grandmother and wanted the actor to name her grandchild. Surprised by the gesture, Big B said he liked the name Adrithi for a girl, and if it's a boy, he liked the names Adarsh and Adhiraj.

Namrata said that with her prize money, she will make a dance institute to teach Kathak to more students. The dancer swiftly answered all questions and managed to reach the 13th question, winning Rs 25 lakhs. Her knowledge of various fields left Bachchan impressed. However, it was the 14th question for Rs 50 lakhs that made her quit the show.

Here is the question that stumped Namrata Shah. Can you answer it?
