Amitabh Bachchan's Kaun Banega Crorepati 12 (KBC) is a fan favourite show, there is no denying that. It is the perfect dose of infotainment to end the day with.

On its October 27 episode, the host welcomed Dr Shruti Singh from Gujarat on the hot seat. Shruti, who self-talked before answering questions, played a commendable game and went on to secure prize money of Rs 12.50 lakh.

However, she decided to quit when Rs 25 lakh question was posed to her, and all her lifelines were exhausted.

The question was, Who was the first Indian woman to win a gold medal in wrestling at the Asian Games? The options were, a) Geeta Phogat b) Vinesh Phogat c) Babita Phogat and d) Sakshi Malik.

The correct answer to this question is Vinesh Phogat. When Dr Shruti was asked to guess the correct answer before leaving the hot seat, she chose d) Sakshi Malik, which was not the right answer and would have brought her down to Rs 3.20 lakh.
