'The Kapil Sharma Show' has been one of the most popular shows of recent times on Indian television. With several talented artists going all out to deliver performances that would evoke laughter from the audience, every episode was much-loved by fans from all walks of life. However, the show went off-air in February as host Kapil Sharma cited personal reasons.
And while Kapil Sharma had announced in March that they will return with the show soon, meanwhile, not just the fans, even the artists including Krushna Abhishek, have been missing the show and being on the sets.
Expressing how much he is missing being on the sets, Krushna Abhishek took to his Instagram handle on Thursday to share a clip from the show where he can be seen mimicking senior actor Jackie Shroff in the presence of actor Anil Kapoor who had graced the show in one of the earlier episodes. Kapil Sharma and Chandan Prabhakar are also seen enjoying Krushna's performance.
In trademark Jackie Shroff style, Krushna is seen using the words 'bhidu' while also dressing up as the senior actor.
While sharing the clip, Krushna wrote alongside it, "We all r crazy missing all the madness on the show can't wait all to get well and come bk soon to entertain all of u God heal the world @anilskapoor @tigerjackieshroff @kapilsharma @bharti.laughterqueen @archanapuransingh @kikusharda @chandanprabhakar@apnabhidu (sic).

As soon as Krushna shared the clip, it got a massive response from his fans who took to the comments section to express how much they love the show and his performances.
Reacting to Krushna mimicking Jackie, the senior actor's son Tiger Shroff who is an active social media user, wrote in the comments section, "Outstanding." He followed it up with raising hands emoji, a heart and fire emojis.
Meanwhile, a Telly Chakkar report claims the 'The Kapil Sharma Show' will be back on the small screen on July 21.
Earlier, it was revealed that the new season of the show will star Krushna Abhishek, Kiku Sharda, Bharti Singh, Sumona Chakravarti, Chandan Prabhakar and Archana Puran Singh with the addition of new actors and writers to the team.
Kapil Sharma had told IANS in an interview, "I am excited and happy to welcome new talent - actors and writers on 'The Kapil Sharma Show'. Looking forward to meeting like-minded and talented individuals who have the right passion for entertainment."
The show will be co-produced by Salman Khan Television (SKTV) and Banijay Asia.
