&TV recently unveiled its new brand ideology ‘Hai Khaas Har Andaaz’ that pays an ode to the multiple roles donned by the new-age Indian. The channel’s first-ever live singing reality show for kids, Love Me India, premiered last night.
Judged by Guru Randhawa, Himesh Reshammiya and Neha Bhasin, it introduced captains across the four zones — Anusha Mani (South), Bhoomi Trivedi (East), Navraj Hans (North) and Abhijeet Sawant (West).
With 48 young talent from across the country, the show has empowered viewers by shifting the voting power from the auditions itself. Guru, who makes his small-screen debut with the reality show, said, “Television has immense scope to transform lives, give direction and change perception. I’m grateful to &TV’s Love Me India for giving me an opportunity to step into this world. I look forward to witnessing talent who share the same passion, love and zeal for music like I do.”
Himesh stated, “I’m sure the contestants that India has chosen will prove themselves to be the biggest singing stars. Every Indian who will tune in to this show will have a huge responsibility and I’m positive they will fulfill it well.” Neha mentioned, “Having participated in a reality show before entering the music industry, I feel like I’m entering familiar territory with Love Me India. As I’ve experienced the nervousness of being on the other side of the stage, my style of judging will be different.”
Watch Love Me India tonight and every weekend at 9 pm on &TV.
