During her interaction, the 17-year-old also revealed that she has been getting innumerable 'rishtas' in her DM since 'The Family Man 2' released.

Amazon Prime Video's 'The Family Man 2' starring Manoj Bajpayee, Samantha Akkineni, Priyamani, Sharad Kelkar, Shahab Ali in lead roles received rave reviews from viewers and critics alike. But besides the lead characters, artists Ashlesha Thakur and Abhay Verma too -- who essayed the role of Dhriti and Kalyan respectively, caught the attention of the viewers.

In season two of 'The Family Man', Shrikant Tiwari (Manoj) and Suchi's (Priyamani) daughter Dhriti is shown as one of the crucial characters on the basis of whom the plot proceeds. In season one, while Dhriti was portrayed as a rebellious teenager hooked onto her phone and demanding privacy all the time, in season two Dhriti eventually evolves after a series of sequences force her to take drastic steps against Kalyan with whom she is shown to be in love.

In fact, when 'The Family Man 2' had released, the Dhriti-Kalyan relationship was one of the topics that were discussed with a lot of interest among viewers.

Recently, opening up about doing the romantic parts in the web series with Abhay at such a young age, Ashlesha Thakur told News18.com, "I was very nervous. It was a very new thing for me to do. I had to bring maturity to the character and not have that kidd-ish way of acting. I wanted to make it look very natural and spontaneous. I watched a lot of web series where there is a love interest involved. I researched and studied a lot. Shooting the kissing scene is very technical. It is no fun. It is my work and whatever the requirements are as an actor, I should be comfortable with it."

"When I was told that I have a small peck and a love interest in the second season, Raj and DK (the directors) called me and my father to their office to discuss it. My father asked me what I thought about it. I decided that I wanted to go ahead with it since I am also evolving as an actor. I trust my directors and did not worry about what it would look like on screen because I know how meticulous they are with their writing," she added.

Ashlesha also talked about filming the gruesome kidnapping sequence in the show. "It was exhausting and emotionally and mentally challenging for me. Getting kidnapped was something that was making me very nervous. I did not want to do that scene. I was telling Raj and Suparn sir, 'let's do it another day'. When I did the first take, I was confused whether I was doing the correct thing. When the directors supported me, I knew I was on the right track."

During her interaction, the 17-year-old also revealed that she has been getting innumerable 'rishtas' in her DM along with some of the creepiest and sweetest messages. She added that though she likes the attention, she isn't sure about the genuineness of it all.
