All Mirzapur fans are up for a surprise as Kaleen bhaiya (played by Pankaj Tripathi) sends a loud and clear message about his son Munna Tripathi, donned by 'Pyaar Ka Punchnama' famed actor Divyendu Sharma. Kaleen bhaiya no longer considers his son useless, and says all rules that apply to him, apply to his son as well.
Kaleen bhaiya's message is that he and his son are owners of the Tripathi business, and the rules which applied to him, will also be legible to his son, Munna Tripathi aka Munna bhaiya. After Munna has overtaken the throne in 'Mirzapur 2', he added one more rule - that the rules could change anytime.
Here's the teaser:
Those who have been ardent followers of the show know that when Munna says the rule changes, he senses blood. The teaser, too, sees him pick up the gun in the name of violence. The character is quite the contrast to his father - the calm and cunniny Kaleen bhaiya.
However, Munna bhaiya has a strong competition in the well-built and strong Guddu bhaiya who could crush a skull between his hands if he came down to it. Without Bablu Pandit in the picture, it would thus be interesting to see how the partnership-turned-rivalry between Pandit and Tripathi turns out.
'Mirzapur 2' will also introduce 'Gully Boy' actor Vijay Varma. Rasika Dugal, Kulbhushan Kharbanda, Rajesh Tailang, Shweta Tripathi, Sheeba Chadha, Harshita Gaur and others are all set to come back from the previous season. The show is produced by Excel Entertainment and helmed by Karan Anshuman along with Gurmmeet Singh.
