Mohit Malik tests COVID-19 positive, writes pregnant wife 'Addite is fortunately safe'

Lockdown Ki Love Story actor Mohit Malik has been tested positive for coronavirus. The actor took to his Instagram page and wrote about the symptoms. Mohit is all set to welcome his first child with wife Addite Malik. Talking about his Instagram post, Mohit stated, "As much as we try our best and take necessary precautions, sometimes there is always a wafer-thin chance for an inadvertent situation to occur."

The post further read as "Yesterday I caught the fever and our first impulse was to get a Covid test done, which has come out positive. Addite is fortunately safe, but we have both isolated and I have quarantined myself.

I request all those who were in touch with me for the past few days to exercise caution and take the necessary tests if any symptoms show or even otherwise, as a safety measure.

Let’s pray and hope that we get over this rough tide, not just us, but whoever is going through this and let us hope to start living again in a safe and secure environment."

While talking about Addite's pregnancy, Mohit had earlier told Bombay Times, "I was in the midst of a shoot when Addite called to give me the good news. All she said was, ‘The tests are positive.’ For a minute, I panicked and assumed she was talking about testing positive for COVID-19! But she laughed and told me that she was pregnant and that we are going to become parents. It took two days for the news to sink in. I kept asking her to check again and again."
