Haryana boy Kashish Thakur Pundir walked away with the winner's trophy of MTV Roadies Xtreme as yet another exhilarating season came to an end on August 5, 2018.
The grand finale was aired on Sunday. Neha Dhupia’s gang member Kashish Thakur Pundir and Prince Narula’s team members Nishkarsh Arora and Preeti Kuntal fought the final battle. Kashish won the task and took home the winner's title and a brand new car.
More than the 24-year-old MMA expert it was his mentor Neha who was proud of his victory. Kashish was initially in Prince's team and was roped in by Neha in a mid-season contestant auction. This is Neha’s second win in a row, after Shweta took home the title last year.
On winning the fifteenth season of the longest running reality TV show, Kashish said, “This definitely feels amazing and like a dream come true. Roadies is such a popular show that being associated with it and winning it feels over the world. It also brings me a step closer to starting classes where I could teach girls the art of self-defense. Neha ma’am was such an inspiring gang leader and I feel proud that I lived up to her expectations.”
He also posted a long note on his instagram account. "What a journey it has been. To being the first one in a gang and then finally the last Man standing.[sic]," he wrote.
"My journey has nothing been short of a roller coaster ride. I've had my share of ups and downs, betrayals, drama, action and everything you'd want to see in a movie! I made friends that have stuck with me through thick and thin, have supported me throughout the journey and had my back when no one else did.[sic]"
"To be able to have them perform the finale task for was everything that I had hoped for because I did not get the opportunity to perform any task with them on the show.I dedicate this post to my friends who made this day possible,[sic]" he added.
Featuring Rannvijay Singha, Nikhil Chinnapa, Neha Dhupia, Prince Narula and Raftaar, the fifteenth season of the show started off its journey from Shillong and concluded at Ziro, Arunachal Pradesh.
