We all know that original 'naagins' of telly, Mouni Roy and Adaa Khan are not going to be a part of season 3. Karishma Tanna, Subhi Jyoti and Anita Hassanandani have taken over the baton from the two telly hotties. But wait, Adaa Khan's Instagram gave us a sneak peak into the her reunion with Mouni on the sets of Naagin 3.
Naagin 3 begins on March 3 on Colors and it seems like the original naagins will be introducing the new ones in a promo for the show. In one of Adaa’s story, she shared a picture of herself with Mouni and wrote, “Back together.” Dressed in the naagin lehengas, they look gorgeous and we are delighted to see them having fun together. The duo has won the hearts of many since the last two Naagin series and this promo will surely make you want more. Some reports also suggest that Mouni and Adaa will be seen in a flashback scenes in the show.
Mouni Roy who became a household name with the popular show posted a very emotional goodbye to Naagin.
She wrote, “I have been holding onto this emotion for quite sometime now. But its time to let go of something that hold a very large part of my heart. The show that gave me everything; Shivanya & Shivangi , embodying em was a privilege I was given by my @ektaravikapoor . Thank you maam , i shall always be thankful and they ll always be a part of me. My little land of make belief ~ Naagin 1 & 2. Anyone who knows me knows how attached i am with what i love. So without much ado i bid adieu. Waiting eagerly for the next season telecast & wishing the new team all my love & luck. P.S this one s gonna be epic too. #NaaginForever”
Balaji Telefilms head, Ekta Kapoor also returned the love and replied back saying, “There will only be one Naagin for us and that’s You! All good things come to an end … and bigger things await you; some of which I’m writing with my heart and soul (Mehrunissa). You made Naagin ‘INDIA’S most watched show in the last 5years’, now other feats await you. Love you.”
Meanwhile, Mouni will be soon making her Bollywood debut, opposite Akshay Kumar, in the upcoming movie Gold. It is a patriotic sports drama, it will bring to the screen independent India’s first Olympic gold, won by the Indian hockey team in the 1948 London Olympics. She plays Akshay Kumar’s romantic interest in the film.
