Amid the nationwide vaccination drive, several films and television stars have been getting their jabs and sharing pictures and videos on their social media handle, some with the intention of spreading awareness about getting vaccinated, others, as a section of internet users termed it, for 'publicity'.

On Tuesday, 'Bigg Boss 13' fame Arti Singh who took her first jab of COVID-19 vaccine, took to her Instagram handle to share pictures from the vaccination centre where she was clicked looking rather scared while getting the jab.

However, little did she know that the pictures won't go down well with netizens who would end up trolling her on the same.

In a series of photos that Arti shared, she can be seen giving various expressions, looking scared in the pictures as the nurse approaches to give her the jab. Talking about how frightened she is of injections, Arrti wrote in her caption, "Scared of injections  but do takeeeeeee it ... we need to fight this ..... first dose done  @rahulnarainkanal thank uuu for making it happen .... @my_bmc thank u."

But Arti's post didn't go well with netizens who asked her how did she get tattooed if she was so scared of injection. Some users dropped nasty comments on the post and targetted her for 'overacting'.

"Tattoo karwate waqt nahi pain hua aapko... Overacting ki dukaan," wrote a user. "Nautanki sab ko dekh k.Stop publicity for each happening.Iske phele injection jo lagwaye hai unke videos kyu nhi upload kiye," wrote another.

"Weren't you scared while having that bog tattoo on your hand???? OVERACTING KI DUKKAN," wrote yet another user. "Overacting keliye kitne paise mile apko.....Wahan logon ko Vaccine keliye Slot nahi mil raha aur app log yahan bakchodi kar rahe ho.... Tattoo banate waqt kuch nahi hua par Vaccine lagwane keliye dard ho raha hai .....m," commented yet another Instagram user.

On a related note, TV actor Asha Negi on Tuesday dropped an Instagram post wherein she appreciated celebrities taking the COVID-19 jab and sharing photos and videos to spread awareness and motivate citizens to get vaccinated. However, she requested celebrities to not overact in the videos that show them getting vaccinated against the coronavirus.

"To all the actors who are uploading their vaccination videos, yaar awareness ke liye thik hai but please itni overacting mat kiya karo, bohot annoying ho jaata hai! (Spreading awareness is fine but please don’t overact. It is very annoying)," wrote Asha Negi in a post.

In her caption, Asha also posed a question on behalf of the people. She wrote, "Please yaar! Aur haan log pooch rahe hain videographer khud le ja rahe ho ya hospital is providing?"
