Yuvika told ETimes, "Yes, we had COVID-19 last month. I pray no one should go through this." While Prince shared, "Look, COVID-19 did not give us too much trouble. We were totally asymptomatic. Now, we didn't want to put that we are fine in many ways because some people read actors, or for that matter, anybody else, on social media, and blindly start following what they read."

He added, "Bodies are different, individual cases are therefore different. We isolated ourselves for 21 days and then twice tested to make sure that we are negative before going out- but then, dengue struck."

Prince also revealed, "We are still in hospital in Chandigarh. But we are much better, today, for sure. We expect and hope to be discharged tomorrow."

Yuvika and Prince have been married for two years now. The couple met on the reality show Bigg Boss 9 which Prince won. While recalling their love story, Yuvika had earlier told Hindustan Times, "We were strangers inside the Bigg Boss house. While Prince developed a strong liking for me at the beginning of our stay, I wanted to take some time. We fell in love much after the show ended. I even told him inside the house that if he is trying to be pally with me for the ratings, I am the wrong girl."
